Constitution Day
A Federal law went into effect in 2004 requiring all educational institutions that receive Federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an education program on the US Constitution on September 17 for students served by the educational institution. The law also required all Federal employees to get an education on the US Constitution ( Public law 1-8-447 Sec. 111 Division J – Sec 111(b)) If September 17th falls on a weekend the education should be done the week before or after September 17th.
